青年の船に関してはまた次回書かせてもらいます。

さて、本日は午前中に「カリブ・アフリカ」というイベントに行ってきました！
アフリカ関連のイベントは東京ではときどきあるのですが、関西では全然無い💦
彼女もそう感じていたそうで、それなら自分が開こうと考えたそうです。
これは明日18日も開催されております。
Today, in the morningI went to CARIB AFRICA, a event by Yui Azuma-san.
I always wondered why there was no events in Kansai area although sometimes African events were held in Tokyo.
She thought the same thing and held the event by herself.
This event will be held tomorrow, too.

午後はJICA関西に行き、SDGsに関する展示や青年海外協力隊のを見てきました。
SDGsの実際の取り組みや、青年海外協力隊の帰国後の活動について知ることができました。
In the afternoon, I went JICA Kansai and viewed the exhibition about SDGs and Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers(JOCV).
I learned the current situation of SDGs and what people were doing after joining JOCV.

夕方からは大学の同窓会に参加しました。
全学部・全研究科の卒業生が集うため、様々な方々と知り合うことができました。
In the evening, I joined my college reunion.
I became acquainted with many people because people from all faculties and all graduate school joined the party.
さて、今からサウナ行ってきます！
Now I am going to take a sauna!
世界青年の船について①「参加してきました！」 "Ship for World Youth Leaders"① "I joined the program!"
皆さんは内閣府の青年国際交流事業というものがあるのを知っていますか？
ボクは今年の1月末から3月初めまでそのうちの一つ、「世界青年の船」に参加してきました！
Do you know the international youth exchange programs which are implemented by Japanese Cabinet Office?
I participated in one of the program, "Ship for World Youth Leaders" from the end of this January to the beginning of March!
「世界青年の船」は1967年、当時青年が自力で海外に行くことが困難であったために政府が主体となって青年を海外派遣することが目的で実施され始めました。
"Ship for World Youth Leaders" has been implemented by Japanese government since 1967.
This is because that was difficult for youth to go abroad by themselvs as that time.
その後幾度かの見直しが行われ、現在に至っております。
なお、正式名称は次世代グローバルリーダー事業「Ship for World Youth Leaders」といい（長いですね汗）、ボクら参加青年は「SWY」(『すわい』と発音）と呼んでいます。
The program has been improved several times and it became the current situation.
The official name is Next Generation Global Leaders Program "Ship for World Youth Leaders." (It's very long, right?)
We participants call the program as "SWY"( the pronounce is Suwai).
この事業では三井商船さんのにっぽん丸というクルーズ船で、日本人参加青年約120名と外国参加青年約120名が1ヶ月以上共に共に過ごします。
In this program, about 120 Japanese Youth Participants and also about 120 Overseas Youth Participants spend time together for more than one month in Nippon-maru, a cruise ship made by MItsui O.S.K.Lines.
7階建ての大きな船です。
これを貸切ですよ！笑
船内の施設もすごいのですが、それはまた別の投稿でお話します。
The big ship is 7 stories high.
We reserved this ship lol !
The equipments inside the ship were great.
I will write about them on another occasion.
次回はこの事業の目的や概要についてお話しようと思います。
Next time, I will write the purpose and outline of this program.

I have started my blog today.
内容としては、ボクが経験した日本の内閣府による青年国際交流事業「世界青年の船」（次世代グローバルリーダー事業「シップ・フォー・ワールド・ユース・リーダーズ」）や海外旅行、国際交流、日本の紹介、その他日常で気付いたことを書いていこうと思います！
I will write mainly Ship for World Youth Leaders Program which is provided by Japanese Cabinet Office, my experience of overseas travel and international exchange activities, introduction of Japan and what I notice in everyday life!
ボクのブログで、日本人の読者の方々には内閣府の青年国際交流事業や海外のことに関心をもっていただき、海外の読者には日本についてもっと理解してもらえればと思います^ ω ^
I hope my articles get Japanese people become interested in the internatinal exchange program by Japanese Cabinet Office and foreign affairs and get foreign people to understand Japan better ^ ω ^
